BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
The contract for the booking of 11E Casas del Sol (the property) is between Norman Sparrow (the owner) and the person confirming the booking (the client).
The contract is for holiday accommodation only. It is the client´s responsibility to arrange flights. Please ensure that the property has been reserved for you prioassignment servicer to booking your flights. Upon enquiry, the property will be held for the client for 24 hours to allow time for coordinating and booking flights. If the client does not confirm the booking of the property within 24 hours then the reservation will expire.
The property will be available for occupation by the client from 2.00 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated no later than 10.00 am on the day of departure. However, these times may be flexible depending upon the previous and forward occupancy of the property and the client will be advised accordingly. Luggage storage facilities are available within the lounge area of the reception building.
The number of persons using the property will not exceed the number booked by the client for the duration of the booking.
CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING
The booking will be confirmed by an exchange of emails between the owner and the client.
It is the responsibility of the client to arrange holiday insurance, preferably, as soon as the booking is confirmed. The owner will not be held responsible for any injury, or loss or damage to the client or any of the client´s property (including members of the client´s party) whilst on holiday.
It is the client´s responsibility to ensure that passports and/or visas are in order for the travel and holiday. If the client, or any member of the client´s party, is unable to travel as a result of travel documentation not being in order, then the owner will not be liable for any refund.
A deposit of 150 GB Pounds per booking week is required from the client upon confirmation of the booking. The balance of the booking payment must be paid to the owner no later than 8 weeks prior to arrival. All bookings made less than 8 weeks before the arrival date must be paid in full on the date of the booking.
The owner will accept payment in GB Pounds by electronic transfer to a nominated UK bank account. Payment by credit, debit or charge cards cannot be accepted. Payment in Euros will be considered by the owner and will be the subject of a separate arrangement between the owner and the client.
If the client should decide to cancel the booking of the property then notification must be made to the owner by email. The effective date of the cancellation will be the date the email is received by the owner. Cancellation charges will be applied in accordance with the following scale:
Up to 42 days prior to arrival – loss of deposit
41 to 29 days prior to arrival – cancellation charge 30% of booking payment
28 to 15 days prior to arrival – cancellation charge 60% of booking payment
14 to 07 days prior to arrival – cancellation charge 90% of booking payment
6 days to 1 day prior to arrival – cancellation charge of 100% of booking payment
MAINTENANCE OF THE PROPERTY
The client undertakes to keep all furniture, fixtures and fittings in the same condition found at the start of the holiday. The cost of any damage or breakages will be charged to the client.
ACCURACY OF WEBSITE INFORMATION
Whilst every care has been taken by the owner to provide accurate and up to date information on the website (www.casasdelsol-lanzarote.com), there may be occasions where particular facilities offered are no longer available. If the holiday booking is based on a particular facility offered then the client must ensure that the owner is made aware of this at the time of booking. Furnishings within the property may differ from the photographs.
